    Nutrition – A Key to Good Health

    Foods are any substance absorbed to the body to provide nutrients. Usually food is of vegetable, animal, or fungi origin, and usually contains necessary nutrients, like proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates, and minerals. Foods that are rich in water content, vitamins and minerals are called good food, while those that lack in these components are termed bad food. Some examples of good food are vegetables, fruits, and whole grains; whereas, those which are deficient in almost all these components are considered bad food. The best way to keep our bodies healthy is to eat a balanced diet, which is rich in nutrients and low in saturated fat, salt, sugar, and cholesterol. A…
